Leap Into Books Giveaway Hop

Image
Welcome to my Leap Into Books Giveaway Hop post. I've decided to give away a copy of my young adult fantasy, Horse Charmer. Use the Rafflecopter below to enter my giveaway. The Linky List below includes all the blogs participating in the hop for other chances to win book related fun stuff. A gifted princess. A special horse. A quest for the truth. At sixteen years old, Cassia would rather spend her days in the royal stables than in the royal court. But as the eldest child of King Robet and Queen Sarahann she obediently performs her duties as the Princess of Karah. Her safe world changes forever when her father is murdered in the neighboring kingdom of Vespera. Cassia grapples with his loss as her mother prepares her for her new role as queen. Her first task - she must travel to Vespera to marry a prince she barely knows to fulfill the treaty her father signed just before his death. Nothing is as simple as it seems with political intrigues and unusual powers

A Year in Review

So, it's that time of year. Filing taxes. Checking to see if you accomplished some or all of your goals. And for those of us indie writers to check our sales numbers and see how things went for the year. The only thing I can tell from my numbers is that having a new release in the same genre is the best advertising. The month after Unicorn Keep came out I had a boost in sales for Horse Charmer. I'm guessing people who bought Unicorn Keep liked it enough to go and buy Horse Charmer. Here are the numbers (please be aware that these numbers do not include my books who are with publishers - only the ones I have released myself): Total Sales: 406 units sold Total Freebies: 5579 units Top Selling Novel: Horse Charmer - 92 units Top Selling Short Story: Jumping Thoughts - 42 units Top Selling Nonfiction Short: Horse Schools: What Do You Want To Be? - 33 units I can't do a top selling novella since I only have a single novella out myself. I don't have

Tasty Book Tours

Looking for a little more content for your blog? A blogger friend of mine has recently started up a book tour company - Tasty Book Tours . You can sign up as a tour host and participate as often as you are comfortable. She is primarily booking romance book tours right now, but I know she plans on adding more genres. I believe all genres are welcome. You can participate in Release Day Blasts, Blurb Tours, Excerpt Tours, Guest/Interview Posts, and Reviews (you get free books with that one).  She's running a giveaway for referring a blog to sign up. So, if you're interested please be sure to mention my name. Thanks. :-) Go to this link to sign up to host: http://tastybooktours.blogspot.com/2013/02/refer-tour-host-giveaway.html
